Our Common #1 Red Oak is both durable and workable as the species boasts with slight variations in color and grain. Common #1 grade flooring maintains a clean look while integrating a little character. Knots are typically small in size ranging from the size of a pencil eraser to a nickel. Mineral streaks are typically under 1” in size. Board lengths are shorter than Select and Better Grade, but longer than lower grades.
